We’re excited to announce we were recently featured in a webinar about Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions in the heavy industry. Our discussion included an overview of industry challenges, communication protocols and cost considerations.
We also shared some of our own experiences. For example, using an IIoT framework, we recently designed a system that tracks the performance of shock absorbers, which absorb the energy from heavy-duty machines—protecting them from damage. This system even detects potential failure points caused by oil leaks, clogged orifices and more.
By tracking device performance, you can keep your shock absorbers from deteriorating too quickly, resulting in costly repairs and downtime. On the other hand, you also don’t have to worry about replacing your components prematurely—another costly outcome.
